Lighting Rural Tanzania Competition (LRTC2014) grant award project comes as a continuation of the Lighting Rural Tanzania Competition (LRTC) program. The competition seeks to support innovative and sustainable local-level solutions that improve the quality of and access to modern energy services for off-grid rural communities in Mainland Tanzania and increasing the participation of private sector entrepreneurs in rural energy projects
