Extended Deadline for Grant Application for Renewable Energy Project Preparation Support Facility (PPSF) up to 2nd April 2022

The Rural Energy Agency (REA) invites applications from Renewable Energy Small Power Producer (SPP) and Mini-Grid Project Developers for financial assistance from the Renewable Energy Project Preparation Support Facility (PPSF).

By providing grants to Developers for project feasibility studies and other pre-construction consulting services, the PPSF is designed to support Developers to complete development of their projects and achieve financial close. The PPSF has up to $2 million in funding available, with the maximum grant of $250,000 per project.

Find the attached Operating Guideline, Grant Application Form, the Call for Application and the Consultants Database.

NOTE: Do not alter the structure of the Grant Application Form. Just fill in the form the contents as guided.

REA Yawataka Waendelezaji Miradi Ya Kuzalisha Umeme Kwa Maji Kuchukua Tahadhari Ya El Nino

Wakala wa Nishati Vijijini REA imejipanga  kuendelea kuimarisha na kuwezesha Waendelezaji wa Miradi Midogo ya Kuzalisha Umeme kwa Maporomoko ya Maji, ikiwemo kuhakikisha miradi hiyo inalindwa dhidi ya athari zinazoweza kusababishwa na mvua kubwa za El Nino zinazotarajiwa kunyesha katika kipindi hiki.

Kauli hiyo imetolewa leo Oktona 6, 2026 na Mkurugenzi wa Nishati Jadidifu na Teknolojia Mbadala wa REA, Mhandisi Advera Mwijage, wakati wa ziara ya kukagua maendeleo ya Mradi wa Umeme wa Ijangala wenye uwezo wa kuzalisha Kilowati 360, uliopo katika Kijiji cha Masisiwe, Wilaya ya Makete mkoani Njombe.
