TENDER №: AE/008/2014- 15/HQ/C/48: DESIGN, PREPARATION OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION OF REA OFFICE

The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Rural Energy Agency (REA) during the financial year 2014/15. It is intended that part of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Provision of Consulting Services for Conceptual Design, Detailed Design, Preparation of Bidding Documents and Construction Supervision of REA Office Building at Plot NO. 186165/40 Sea View Upanga.

Lighting Rural Tanzania Competition (LRTC2014) grant award project comes as a continuation of the Lighting Rural Tanzania Competition (LRTC) program. The first project under this competitive grant program was the LRTC2010 which was held in year 2010 followed by LRTC2012 held in year 2012. All competitions under this program aim at increasing access to modern energy services, improving lighting technologies and substituting the use of kerosene and candles for lighting in rural areas. The competition seeks to support innovative and sustainable local-level solutions that improve the quality of and access to modern energy services for off-grid rural communities in Mainland Tanzania and increasing the participation of private sector entrepreneurs in rural energy projects

Wakala wa Nishati Vijijini unakaribisha maombi ya mkopo nafuu kuwezesha ujenzi wa vituo vidogo vya kuuzia bidhaa za mafuta (petroli na dizeli) vijijini. Mkopo huu utasaidia uwezeshaji wa ujenzi na uendeshaji wa vituo vipya vidogo vya gharama nafuu maeneo ya vijijini ili kuhakikisha upatikanaji wa nishati ya mafuta kwa gharama nafuu, kwa njia salama, na isiyo na madhara kwa mazingira.

Wakala unawasisitiza waombaji walioomba katika awamu ya kwanza na kutokidhi vigezo kuomba tena baada ya kufanya marekebisho  ya  mapungufu yaliyobainishwa katika maombi yao. Aidha maombi mapya ya mkopo yanakaribishwa.
