ENG. GISSIMA B. NYAMO-HANGA EMERGES THE BEST DELEGATE IN THE SUB SAHARAN AFRICA POWER SUMMIT 2017

Eng. Gissima B. Nyamo-Hanga, the Director General of Rural Energy Agency (REA - Tanzania) emerged the BEST DELEGATE in the Sub Saharan Africa Power Summit 2017 #SSAPOW17 hosted by Vale Media Group.

The Sub Saharan Africa Power Summit was held from 8th to 10th November 2017 in Lusaka, Zambia. It focused on Oil, Gas and Power providing a platform for B2B event companies to address key trends and challenges currently facing the Power Industry in Sub Saharan Africa.

After receiving the trophy and certificate, Eng. Gissima Nyamo-Hanga thanked organizers for valuing his contribution and expressed his innermost appreciation that the award is extended to the Rural Energy Agency (REA), Ministry of Energy and the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania.

Call for Proposal for Deployment of Stand-Alone Solar Home Systems (SA-SHS) in Remote Villages in Geita, Ludewa and Mbulu Districts

Deadline for submission of Call for Proposal for Deployment of Stand-Alone Solar Home Systems (SA-SHS) in Remote Villages in Geita, Ludewa and Mbulu Districts has been extended up to 15th September 2025.

The Rural Energy Agency (REA) is seeking proposals from qualified service providers for the supply, installation, and testing of Stand-Alone Solar Home Systems (SA-SHS) in eight remote villages across Geita, Ludewa and Mbulu districts. Those villages are located in remote areas with challenging geographical conditions, hence, impractical for grid extension.

•    Call for Proposals for Result Based Financing Installation of Stand Alone Solar Home Systems.
