Energy Access and Use Situation Second Survey 2019/20 has been conducted by the Ministry of Energy through Rural Energy Agency (REA). It provides statistical information on the access and use of energy situation in Tanzania Mainland.

This Survey Report is the second product of the Rural Energy Agency (REA) under the Ministry of Energy and Minerals. The first one was conducted in 2011 aimed at providing baseline data on the access and use of energy in Tanzania Mainland.

The Annual Report for 2014/15 Rural Energy Agency provides the status of progress and milestones of rural energy activities that were planned for the Financial Year 2014/15.

On behalf of the Rural Energy Board, I have a pleasure to present the Annual Report for the financial year 2013/14. The report covers the performance of the implementation of the rural energy projects, audited financial statements, challenges faced by the Agency as well as way forward. It is our duty to continue to inform all our esteemed stakeholders about our operations in this 7th year since establishment of the Agency. As establishing made clear depict, REA is a statutory body, entrusted to promote and facilitate access to modern energy services in rural areas of Mainland Tanzania.
